English: A One Hundred Dollar Confederate States of America banknote dated December 22, 1862. Issued during the American Civil War (1861–1865).

Slave hoeing cotton in the center with John C. Calhoun on the left and Columbia on the right. Over 670,000 of these notes were issued from August, 1862 to January, 1863. [1]

The bill is 7.375 by 3.125 inches (187 mm by 79 mm) and is thinner than a modern US dollar.

Türkçe: Amerikan İç Savaşı sırasında, Amerika Konfedere Devletleri tarafından çıkarılan 22 Aralık 1862 tarihli 100 dolarlık banknot. Banknotun orta bölmünde pamuk çapalayan köleler, solda Birleşik Devletler'in 7. Başkan Yardımcısı John C. Calhoun, sağda ise ABD'nin kişileştirilmiş sembolü olan Columbia yer alır. Ağustos 1862 - Ocak 1863 aralığında, 670.000'den fazla banknot tedavüle çıkarılmıştır. [2]

Calhoun's collar. The crop leaves a small amount of white space to show the banknote is not a perfect rectangle. They were hand cut from a sheet of banknotes.
