:Hahaha, I wouldn't know about that. I guess the principle's the same. It's fairly straightforward really - just plug in the numbers for degrees, minutes and seconds and there you have it. Unfortunately the French commune articles on en use a different infobox so the coordinate data can't just be copy-pasted. We could just adopt [[en:Template:Infobox French commune]] but that introduces inconsistency here; or I could probably write a small program to convert the format. My programming skills aren't up to much though. The raw data is all available on dbpedia [http://dbpedia.org/page/Paris/latLong/coord] - there may be a way to use this directly, I dunno, might be worth looking into.
