All i can do is look into the sub-templates of tl:coord and see if it is us. if nothing is there, i think we cannot do anything else but let someone else solve it for us. This is unchartered territory for me too. Our tl:coord currently has no subtemplates but if you look at [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Template:Coord&action=edit en:tl:coord] (down at the bootom), you ll see it has plenty of templates included (some related to the english only feet-metric-conversion), but some also starting with tl:coord/... I can imagine that being the problem with us.
