:::::The way location maps work , for example, is relatively language independent. They are called from {{Tlx|Infobox settlement}} - this is not like {{Tlx|Infobox Indian jurisdiction}} which is a ''replacement'' for {{Tlx|Infobox settlement}} just for India, which I also oppose, even on en:. They are more part of {{Tlx|Infobox settlement}} which become more useful as time goes by. We currently have only the two we need so far, and they are un-likely to change. We will only bring more over as we need them, partly because that's easier and partly because I hope that there will be a better system in a year or two.
