Andrey Korotayev

Andrey Korotayev (alizaliwa mjini Moscow 17 Februari 1961) ni mwanahistoria na mwanauchumi maarufu nchini Urusi. Alihitimu Chuo Kikuu cha Moscow mwaka 1984.

Kimaitaifa anajulikana hasa kama mtaalamu bora wa historia. Yeye pia wanaona mawimbi ya muda mrefu katika mahusiano ya kimataifa ya uvumbuzi.[1] Pia anajulikana kwa nadharia yake ya mageuzi ya kijamii.[2] Aidha, Korotayev alitoa mchango mkubwa katika utafiti wa asili ya Uislamu.[3] Maslahi yake kuu ni katika mkakati wa usalama wa taifa na demokrasia ya nchi zinazoendelea.

Korotayev aliandika mengi kuhusu uchumi, siasa na dini. Aliandika vitabu 20 na zaidi ya makala 200 kwa majarida ya kitaalamu katika Marekani,[4] Misri,[5] Hispania,[6] Hungaria,[7] Ujerumani,[8] Italia,[9] Ubelgiji[10], Ufaransa[11], Uingereza[12], Ukraine[13], Yemen[14], Urusi[15], Norwei[16], China[17], Japani[18] na nchi nyingine.
