Calypso Botez (1880–1933) alikuwa mwandishi wa Kiromania na mwanaharakati wa haki za wanawake.

Botez alizaliwa mnamo 1880 huko Bacău. Alihitimu kutoka Chuo Kikuu cha Iasi. Wakati huo Botez aliishi Bukarest ambapo alifundisha katika shule ya upili ingawa pia alikuwa akikagua shule zingine. Alikua Rais wa Msalaba Mwekundu huko Galatia.[1] Mnamo 1917 alikuwa mwanzilishi mwenza, pamoja na Maria Baiulescu, Ella Negruzzi na Elena Meissner, wa Asociația de Emancipare Civilă și Politică a Femeii Române au Umoja wa Wanawake wa Rumania (UFR).[2]

Aliandika kuhusu haki za wanawake akionyesha kwamba kifungu cha kwanza cha katiba ya Romania kilishikilia kuwa raia wote walikuwa sawa. Mnamo 1919 alichapisha Tatizo la Haki za Mwanamke wa Kiromania. Alifanya kampeni ya mageuzi ya mamlaka ya serikali, haki za wanawake na mageuzi ya sheria ya talaka. Mnamo 1920 alichapisha Tatizo la Ufeministi. Utaratibu wa Vipengee Vyake.[3] Alianzisha ushirikiano wa Consiliul Naţional al Femeilor Române [Baraza la Kitaifa la Wanawake wa Romania] mwaka wa 1921.
