Tido Mhando
Welcome to wikipedia, Tido!
Was I the only person listening to the BBC show where you said on the air that you were going to correct the article Pele to read 1958 instead of 1954? It sounded like you said you had done so while on the air - but so far, no one has changed that article in months, except for a robot.
It's interesting, because last month when an American comedian, Stephen Colbert, said on TV he was changing articles on the English Wikipedia, it looks like he really did... Colbert also told his listeners to vandalise the wikipedia, by writing that the population of Elephants in Africa had tripled in the last three months (an obvious untruth) and several pages on the English wikipedia actually had to be temporarily locked as a result!
Anyway, I enjoyed listening to you on the show, and hope the African projects continue to receive attention. I am an administrator and avid contributor to the Amharic wikipedia. The Amharic language is in no danger of dying out, the nice thing is that people can become fluent in several languages if given enough time, without necessarily losing their old languages!
