Saoi O'Connor
Saoi O'Connor (amezaliwa 2003) ni mwanaharakati wa hali ya hewa kutoka Ayalandi. Alianza mgomo wa Fridays for Future huko Cork, Ayalandi mnamo Januari 2019.[1]

haririSaoi O'Connor alianza mgomo wa Fridays for Future kwenye jiji la Cork mnamo 11 Januari 2019 nje ya jumba la jiji la Cork.[2][3] akiwa ameshikilia bango linalosema The Emperor Has No Clothes (Mfalme Hana Mavazi).[4] O'Connor alifanya muonekano wake wa kwanza katika vyombo vya habari akiwa na umri wa miaka 3 kama sehemu ya kampeni ya biashara ya haki wakati wa Siku ya Mtakatifu Patrick (Saint Patrick's Day).[5] O'Connor aliacha masomo ya kawaida katika Shule ya Jamii ya Skibbereen na kuanza masomo ya nyumbani [4] kuruhusu kufanya kampeni wakati wote.[6] Mnamo Februari 2019, O'Connor alisafiri kwenda Bunge la Uropa huko Strasbourg kuungana na wanaharakati wenzake kwa mijadala ya hali ya hewa.[5]
O'Connor alikuwa mmoja wa wajumbe 157 kwenye Mkutano wa Vijana wa RTT wa 2019 kuhusu hali ya hewa,[7] na alihudhuria Mkutano wa Umoja wa Mataifa wa Mabadiliko ya Tabianchi huko Madrid mwaka huo huo.[8]
O'Connor alikuwa mmoja wa wachangiaji wa hadithi, Empty House, iliyohaririwa na Alice Kinsella na Nessa O'Mahony na ni pamoja na michango kutoka kwa Rick O'Shea na Paula Meehan.[6][9]
