Fransis Bacon
Fransis Bacon (22 Januari 1561 - 9 Aprili 1626) alikuwa Mwingereza maarufu upande wa falsafa, siasa, sayansi, sheria, hotuba na uandishi.
Baada ya kushika nafasi muhimu serikalini[1], aliacha urithi wake hasa upande wa sayansi kama mtetezi na mtumiaji wa mbinu ya kisayansi wakati wa mapinduzi ya kisayansi akidai kila jambo lithibitishwe kwa majaribio.[2]
Alifariki kwa kichomi wakati wa kujaribu namna ya kutunza nyama kwa kutumia barafu.
