Ntone Edjabe (alizaliwa mnamo mwaka 1970) ni mwandishi wa habari wa Kameruni, DJ na mhariri mwanzilishi wa jarida la Chimurenga.
Maisha na kazi
haririNtone Edjabe alizaliwa Douala, Kameruni, na alihamia Lagos, Nigeria, ambako alianza masomo yake. Mnamo mwaka 1993 alikatisha masomo yake na kuhamia inchini Afrika Kusini.[1] Alifanya kazi kama mwandishi wa habari, mwandishi, DJ, na mkufunzi wa mpira wa magongo.[2]
Mnamo mwaka 1997 alikua mwanzilishi mwenza na msimamizi wa Soko la Pan African, sehemu ya kibiashara na kiutamaduni iliyokuwa Mtaa wa Long Street(Cape Town) katikati mwa Cape Town. Mnamo mwaka [[2002] alianzisha jarida la "Chimurenga". Mnamo mwaka 2004 alikuwa msimamizi[3] wa Time of the Writer, na mnamo mwaka 2007 alishiriki katika toleo lake la 10 katika Kituo cha Sanaa za Ubunifu za Chuo Kikuu cha KwaZulu-Natal. Edjabe ni mwanzilishi mwenza na mwanachama wa mfumo wa pamoja wa DJ Fong Kong Bantu Soundsystem. Mnamo mwaka 2009 alikuwa Msanii wa Makazi ya Abramowitz Taasisi ya Teknolojia ya Massachusetts.[4]
Mnamo mwaka 2011 Edjabe alishinda Tuzo kuu ya Prince Claus Awards, na yake Chimurenga platform.

haririMnamo mwaka 2002, Edjabe alikua mwanzilishi na mkurugenzi wa jarida la "Chimurenga" na msimamizi wa mfululizo wa machapisho African Cities Reader na Edgar Pieterse. Alishirikiana na kuwasilisha kipindi cha redio Soul Makossa cha Bush Radio (South Africa)|Bush Radio 89.5, redio iliyojikita huko Cape Town.[5] Alikuwa mtunzi akiwa na mwenzake Neo Muyanga wa Pan African Space Station (PASS). Miongoni mwa machapisho ambayo alichangia ni Politique africaine, Autre Afrique|L'Autre Afrique na BBC Focus on Africa.
