The Tanzania Sound


"The Tanzania Sound " ni jina la kutaja albamu ya nyimbo mchanganyiko ya muziki wa dansi kutoka nchini Tanzania. Albamu imekusanya nyimbo za miaka ya 1950-na-1960 na kuziweka pamoja. Albamu ilitolewa tarehe 6 Aprili, 1995. Nyimbo kali kutoka katika albamu ni pamoja na Dada Mwajuma, Tangu Umeondoka, Tukiwa Na Monika Shuleni, Wanawake Tanzania na Shemji Shemeji. Katika miaka ya 1950, Tanzania ilitamba sana kwa muziki wa dansi uliokuwa na hamasa kubwa kushinda hata nchi zake jirani za Zaire na Kenya. Midundo katika kipindi hiki cha miaka ya 1950-1960 ilikuwa balaa.[2]
