Milima ya Nuba
Milima ya Nuba (kwa Kiarabu جبال النوبة jabal an-nuba) ni eneo lililo katika Kordofan Kusini, Sudan. Eneo hilo ni nyumbani kwa kundi la makabila ya asili yanayojulikana kwa pamoja kama Wanuba.
Historia
haririKatika karne ya 18 eneno lilikuwa chini ya wafalme wa Wanuba waliojulikana kama Taqali, walioshindwa na Dola la Mahdi. Wakati ule wahamiaji Waarabu wengi Wabaggara waliingia katika maeneo ya Kordofan Kusini.
Hadi sasa watu milioni 1.5 wanaishi katika milima hiyo, hasa kabila la Nuba na wachache wa Wabaggara. [1]

haririMilima inaenea kilomita 64 kwa 145 ikifikia kimo cha mita 450 hadi 900 juu ya UB.[2] Tabianchi ni ya kitropiki, joto na nusu-yabisi inayopokea kwa wastani milimita 300 hadi 800 za mvua kwa mwaka. Wakati wa kiangazi kinachoendelea kuanzia Februari hadi Mei mara nyingi kuna uhaba wa maji. [3]
