Mwana wa Adamu

Mwana wa Adamu (kwa Kiebrania בן–אדם, ben-'adam, yaani binadamu; kwa Kigiriki "ὁ υἱὸς τοὺ ἀνθρώπου", ho huios tou anthropou, "mwana wa mtu") ni jina lililotumiwa na Yesu Kristo katika kujitaja ili kujitambulisha. Limeandikwa mara nyingi katika Injili, Matendo ya Mitume na Kitabu cha Ufunuo, ingawa halikuendelea kutumiwa sana na Wakristo waliopendelea jina "Mwana wa Mungu".

Mwana wa Adamu akiwa na upanga kati ya vinara saba, kadiri ya Ufunuo wa Yohane; mchoro mdogo wa karne ya 11 kutoka Bamberg.

Mara 81 linapatikana katika Injili, lakini daima mdomoni mwa Yesu. Inawezekana mwenyewe alilipenda kwa sababu Wayahudi walikuwa hawalitumii kwa kulipotosha kama ilivyokuwa kwa jina Masiya walilolielewa kisiasa.
