Brendan (takriban 484 au 486 – takriban 578) alikuwa mtawa na padri kutoka nchi ya Ireland.
Baada ya kulelewa na Ita wa Cluain, alifanya bidii kuanzisha monasteri mbalimbali, hasa ile ya Clonfert mwaka 561.
Aliitwa Baharia kwa vile alisemekana kutembelea visiwa vingi katika Atlantiki ya Kaskazini[1].
