Daudi wa Wales

David wa Wales (kwa Kiwelisi 'Dewi Sant'; 500 hivi^[1] - 589 hivi^[2]^[3]) alikuwa mmonaki wa Welisi, halafu askofu wa Mynyw (sasa inaitwa St Davids kwa heshima yake).

Alitunga kanuni ya kimonaki kwa monasteri aliyoianzisha kwa kufuata mfano na desturi za mababu wa mashariki na alipinga vikali Upelaji. Wafuasi wake wengi waliinjilisha Welisi na nchi za kandokando (Ireland, Cornwall na Bretagne).^[4].
