Jimbo la Imo ni moja ya majimbo 36 ya Nigeria na liko kusini mwa nchi hiyo ya Afrika Magharibi, na Owerri ukiwa mji mkuu na mji mkubwa.
Historia
haririJimbo la Imo liliundwa mwaka wa 1976 pamoja na majimbo mengine mapya yaliyoanzishwa chini ya uongozi wa mtawala wa kijeshi wa Nigeria, Murtala Muhammad, hapo awali likiwa sehemu ya Jimbo la Mashariki ya Kati.
Jina la Jimbo linatokana na jina la Mto Imo [3] Jimbo lilimegwa mwaka wa 1991 na kuunda Jimbo la Abia, na sehemu nyingine ikabakia Jimbo la Ebonyi.
